Gaumukh tapovan Trek: Gaumukh Tapovan is a Majestic Trekking spot. It is Located in Tapovan at a height of 14640ft above the sea level with its base camp in the Uttaranchal hills. Thousands of foreign as well as National tourists visit this place for exotic Trekking experience and mountaineering. Located 18 kms downstream from the Gaumukh is the holy Gangotri. The ganga water flows down from the glaciers to the Gaumukh. The beauty of Gaumukh Tapovan attracts many tourists for adventurous activities like mountaineering and trekking.
Markha Valley: You will witness the scenic beauty of the Great Himalayan mountains, Ladakh and Zanskar trek ranges while Trekking along the Markha river in the little Tibet. It is one of the world’s highest plateaus. You’ll get to enjoy patches of wild roses everywhere. You can also visit the nomadic families, yaks and the majestic monasteries. After exploring heights in leh, you will enter the central ladakh valley where you will be crossing three passes namely, Stok La at 4848m, Kagmaru La at 5274 m and Gandla at 4878 m besides walking along the Markha River. The Main attraction of this trekking trip is the base camp of the Kang-Yutze peak on the plains of Nimaling.
Roopkhund Trek: Roopkhund is an ideal trekking location at a height of 5029 metres above the sea level in the Trishul massif. It is a location somewhere in the inners of the Chamoli District. Roopkhund’s major tourist attraction is its snow bordered shallow lake which is about 2 metres in area. It’s also quoted as the “Mystery Lake”. It is believed to have about 300 corpses since the 14th century A.D. Located amidst the high Himalayas, the Propound lake lies in between the rock-strewn glacier and snow clad peaks. It is a treat to the eye to watch these marvellous locations. Trekking begins from the Mundoli village in the eastern Garhwal Himalayas. You can reach Kathgodam by an overnight train journey from Delhi. Then from Kathgodam you can proceed towards Mundoli village and begin Your Trekking.
Nubra Valley Trek: Nubra Valley trek is located in the northern part Leh at an altitude of 10,000 ft. above the sea level. The main attractions of this region is the Bacterian Camels around Deskit, Samstanling monasteries and sand dunes. While moving towards the Nubra valley by road you also get to be a trespasser through the Khardongla region, which is at a height of about 18380 ft. It is about 50 kms. Away from Leh. After that, you can have a glimpse of other regions as well like the Khardong village, Khalser and Deskit. The best Time to visit the Nubra Valley for trekking is from June to August.
